RESPECT FOR YOUR DATA PRIVACY

When you wish to exercise your rights to rectify, update, or delete your data, you can do so by sending an email to luthier@alfredolerma.com. If the request is made through an attorney or legal representative, the accreditation of that representation must be attached. By sending the email, you will automatically initiate the following procedure:

  • Alfredo Lerma Luthier will send you an email to confirm your request, your name, and your email registered in our contact database along with brief instructions.

  • Once Alfredo Lerma Luthier receives the confirmation and the email with the attached document or the opposition statement (after ten days without verification and/or response) he will respond to your request at the registered email.

  • NOTE: For an expedited response, it is essential to verify the email registered in Alfredo Lerma Luthier´s database.

Your request will be processed as soon as possible (within 5 to 10 business days, depending on the case).

REQUEST RECTIFICATION, UPDATE, OR DELETION. If the record contains inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect data, you may rectify it whenever you wish. You may also request its deletion. Once your request has been sent and the above procedure verified, Alfredo Lerma Luthier will have between 5 and 10 business days to process a request for rectification, update, or deletion.

Terms and Conditions of Contract

Policies for Services, Shipping, Orders, Warranties, and Returns

Before making your registration/training and purchase payment, please review our terms and conditions to coordinate your needs, to choose the rates that best suit your current study activity, crafting, and other relevant terms.

The following information relates to the provision of our services, courses, classes, dispatches, and shipments, as well as direct sales of repair-quality and course work in the Workshop-Store of instruments.


FINANCIAL OPERATION: Courses, Classes, Laboratories, Materials

How can I secure my appointment?

Virtual Classes (online mode)

To secure your appointment, pay the professor's reservation fee. You will have access to the classes or the course following payment. All are offered alternately, including information in the languages of interest (except in personalized classes) with a total of 3 hours per week.

In-person Classes (workshops and courses in the workshop)

You must pay the reservation fee before attending the class, workshop, or course to secure your appointment. 

SERVICES FOR TUNING, RESTORATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF INSTRUMENTS

The workshop specializes in total attention to the details of instrumental diagnosis and the evaluated budget, disclosing the following actions by mail:

The services include: repair, assembly (or instrument adjustments), serial number, date, and time of the procedure (if applicable), clearly informing the situation corresponding to the primary technical variables and the accessories related to measurement, search, and recovery.


Payment Conditions

Payments for work performed on-site in our workshop require a 50% deposit for the contracted work and 50% payment upon delivery. This second portion of the payment may be made in installments as arranged with Alfredo Lerma Luthier.

In the case of purchases shipped outside of the workshop, full payment must be made before the instrument or item is shipped.


Payment Receipts

Receipts will be issued within five days of the account payment's receipt.


Warranty Terms

All products made or services performed in our workshop are covered by limited warranty.

This warranty includes the product functioning to all advertised specifications. If a product fails to meet specifications, we will inspect the product under warranty and will repair or replace it, at our discretion.

This warranty does not apply to any equipment which has been repaired or altered, (except by Alfredo Lerma Luthier, or which has been improperly installed or subjected to misuse, negligence or accident.

While we are pleased to offer suggestions on the use of our various products, it is the responsibility of the user to determine the suitability of the product for the intended application before using, and assume all risk and liability in connection with this. Products that exhibit exposure to conditions not consistent with their design or function will not be covered, even though they may be within the warranty repair period.


Payment Methods

Our workshop accepts payments via bank account transfer (with local banks), Mercado Pago, PayPal, wire transfers, and cash. In the case that the client needs an official invoice, the client must advise Alfredo Lerma Luthier in advance. Additional taxes and fees may apply.


Shipping Times

The shipping time for each product will be determined between Alfredo Lerma Luthier and the client.


Shipping Services

The method and costs of dispatch and distribution of instruments are the client's responsibility. Tracking information will be provided by Alfredo Lerma Luthier upon shipment.

Do I have to pay customs duties for my order?

National customs duties on shipments may apply. This factor is the customer's responsibility, as in the policy. Customs duties will not apply in countries where they have already been paid in advance.

IMPORTANT: Alfredo Lerma Luthier is not responsible in case of loss, theft, or misplacement of the order by the courier or other service responsible for package handling.


RETURNS

How do I request a return?

Alfredo Lerma Luthier does not offer returns on products or services. Please refer to the warranty section for additional information.

How do I track my order?

Confirmation of the product shipment will be enabled for your order as soon as it is issued.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Can I pay a lower amount than the requested Advance Payment?
  2. Yes, of course, no problem. We just need to record it in writing and adjust the payment commitments.

  4. Can I make the full payment by credit card?
  5. Of course. In that case, you must pay the Total Net Amount + an additional 15% for the PPS (Plataform Pay Service).

  1. Is it necessary to reserve the start date with the Advance Payment?
    This is essential. Due to high demand and the internal organization of work in progress, we provide these Estimate Validity times. If the estimated timeframe is not met, we understand that you are rejecting the estimate to make room for other clients who will follow, requesting these same services. Only in this way can we guarantee our work, offering the quality guarantee that each client deserves.

    I need my instrument restored as soon as possible... Can I request a change to the reservation list?
    We must review and discuss this in person. Modifying the delivery schedule requires internal reorganization and the addition of overtime. A 50% increase for "Extra Services" must be applied to the Total Net Amount described above, which must be paid in advance.

    I have paid the Reservation Deposit, but I do not want to continue with the project. Will you refund the money?
    I cannot make refunds. Once the Deposit is paid, the date is reserved to begin the defined tasks, according to this payment commitment. In order to pick up the instrument, the client must pay 50% of the remaining amount corresponding to the "Early Cancellation." I will then deliver the instrument to you, unfinished and in its current state of progress, and I forfeit all rights to claims or guarantees.

    What happens if I fail to pay or breach this contract?
    After 30 days from the suspension of the corresponding payments, the client will lose all right to claim and return the instrument. It will remain in the possession of the workshop and may be used for learning purposes and/or donations to non-profit cultural and educational organizations.

    I left my instrument for a quote, but I don't accept the estimate... can I pick it up?
    Of course! I understand that this Professional Restoration estimate may end up being a little more than you expected... and I'm sure you can find other affordable repair options on the market. So, you can decline this estimate and have 5 business days to pick up your instrument.
